About Us
The Leavitt Group of Atlanta is a full service independent agency. Established in 1987 as Vickers, Owens & Blazina Insurance Services, Inc., we became affiliated with Leavitt Group Enterprises (LGE) in 2003. In September, 2006, we officially changed our name to The Leavitt Insurance Group of Atlanta, Inc. dba The Leavitt Group of Atlanta.
Our majority partner, LGE, is based out of Cedar City, Utah and is one of the largest (top thirty) national brokers in the country. As part of LGE, we combine our resources with 80 other affiliates nationwide to bring large brokerage resources to the doorstep of each of our clients. Presently, we place insurance for over 5,000 individuals and families and 800 businesses throughout the Southeast.
As an independent insurance agency, The Leavitt Group of Atlanta has access to many of the most recognized and respected insurance companies in the country. We have the unique ability to match our clients’ needs with the carriers that can provide the best solutions at competitive prices.
In addition to offering our commercial clients traditional property, casualty, life and health insurance products, The Leavitt Group of Atlanta is a licensed franchisee of the Compliance Check organization. This allows us to assist select clients and prospects in untangling the web of regulations put upon all of us by the various governmental departments and federal, state and local laws.
